Ellena McConville

Ellena is a professional dancer, teacher, performer, and creative based in Liverpool, travelling internationally with over 10 years in the Latin SBK scene. She began with Salsa before discovering Bachata at a world congress in Madrid in 2017 - a moment that sparked a lasting passion in both styles.

With a background in hip-hop, contemporary, and vogue, Ellena fuses street styles into her choreography while honouring Latin roots and musical history. She has collaborated and taught with many talented artists and, three years ago, founded her own dance company, LatinSoul.

Through LatinSoul, she hosts regular classes, creating open and fun spaces for people to connect, express, and share the joy of dance.

As an OG Northwest girle, we are over the moon to have Ellena teaching and supporting this event bringing Salsa on 2 and Dominican Bachata to POW!
