Laura Marvel

Laura started her dancing career at a young age in musical theatre. This is where her passion to perform came from. She explored many dance genres in her earlier years, including contemporary, Irish, jazz, and commercial.

She had her first ever salsa lesson when she was just 14 years old and quickly became hooked. Now, in her mid 30s, she enjoys unique fusion blends with salsa, inspired by her love of hip hop music and dance.

Laura is grateful of all the opportunities her dance career has given her, including teaching at countless festivals, choreographing for music videos, activism campaigns and even a guest choreographer at New York fashion week.

At POW she will be treating us to a commercial hip-hop fusion class and can't wait to share her passion and creativity with the women of the Northwest!
