Libby Fairhurst

Libby is your host and organiser and she is also bringing some Cuban salsa and Rueda to the event!

Libby graduated from Dance and Drama college in 2017 with qualifications in musical theatre and dance teacher training. She started her career in the entertainment and performance industry but found her passion for salsa once leaving dance college and working as a dancer abroad.

Libby joined the Salsa Liverpool team in 2021 and has been teaching for them since bringing energy and joy to both beginners and improver classes. She started her own all female salsa performance team in 2024 as well teaching weekly salsa footwork and musicality classes in Liverpool as well as collaborating with Girls on the Go.

Libby is super excited to be bringing this female only event to the Northwest to highlight the wide array of female teachers in the UK and northwest with knowledge to share. She hopes the event will be a space for women to connect and grow but also have fun and enjoy dancing together in a safe pressure free environment!
